What is this?

I like to ask in conversation, "Is it the former or the latter?"
Either it's my advanced vocabulary skills or just sheer laziness.
Anyhoo, right now, I am in the latter half of my twenties.

I've had my fair share of blogs: Xanga (I just cringed while typing that) during my teenage years, Blogspot for my college years, WordPress for my short-lived student advising career while in college, and now Tumblr for my photo-a-day blog (Oy, that deserves it's own blog post).

I am inspired by others' personal blogs/buckle easily to peer pressure.
The latter half of my twenties is a whole different adventure, which is so worth documenting.
Sometimes my photo-a-day blog just doesn't do it justice.
There are only so many food pics that one can blog about.
Let's see how this goes.

On another note, Happy National Ice Cream Day!
Gonna go procrastinate some more and find some ice cream.

2 Weeks In.

For the past two weeks, I have tried to eat as clean as possible (borderline Whole30 diet). While I am proud of myself, a few days of cheat meals have prompted me to start over this month long challenge. Even if it was a few cheat meals here and there, my body definitely is feeling it. It always amazes and frustrates me how gaining weight and accumulating debt have the same base behaviors. Onto a clean Spring.

Countdown to 2017

I think it's pretty safe to say that the world is looking forward to 2016 being over. Aside from political affiliation, there are many other current events that have left people devoid of hope (as of late, Carrie Fisher has passed away. RIP you badass, you). So as I have a few days until 2017, I'm trying to reflect on what my goals were, what I actually did, and what I strive for in the future One, it's always good to track things so you have something to look back on. Two, when looking back at accomplishments for the year, I feel it's always a mix of things I actually did/things I never touched on.
